>>About the Numbering Machines
Numbering machines are used for various applications such as ticket numbering and perforating, security cheque encoding, credit card encoding, currency numbering, passport numbering, postage stamp numbering and perforating and many more. Today, mechanical numbering equipment are in less demand, in part due to laser, ink jet, and other forms of desktop based numbering. Traditional numbering equipment makers now also offer desktop numbering and perforating systems, and scoring (creasing) systems.
Numbering equipment makers design and assemble digital or analogue numbering and printing systems that can be modular or free standing ¨C examples are rotary or flatbed number presses, and desktop based printing systems. They can also provide printing services for such items as movie tickets, stubs, raffle tickets ¨C basically any printed matter that requires sequential or random numbering. Some also offer an alternative to machine numbering such as barcode generation and printing (using computer software), as well as hand held numbering tools. Numbering machines can also be customised for a particular use, with options such as built-in ink reservoirs, and manual and automatic controls.
Numbering equipment can also be easily modified to fit the needs of the client should their numbering parameters change.
